Square Enix Europe has announced, through there official
Eidos Twitter channel, that
the special edition "THE ART OF TOMB RAIDER" book, limited to only 2,000 copies worldwide, is available for pre-order.
THE ART OF TOMB RAIDER is the first book to present every significant piece of art from the adventures
of Lara Croft. This gallery of art is presented in a two volume, 568 page book.
Volume 1 chronicles Tomb Raider through Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness.
Volume 2 chronicles Tomb Raider: Legend through Tomb Raider: Underworld.
See the first ever sketches of Lara Croft by Toby Gard, unreleased concept art,
and production storyboards along with promotional art and fascinating insights into the evolution
of design and visualization of all the Tomb Raider games.
The two-volume set and accompanying slip case features original cover designs by Crystal Dynamics.
