Feral Interactive has today released Tomb Raider Anniversary for Intel-based Macintosh Computers to stores worldwide.
Tomb Raider Anniversary retraces Lara Croft's original adventure as she looks for the legendary Scion, but does so using a completely new graphics engine and new gameplay mechanics designed for more modern systems. The game sports massive environments to explore, combat, and enhanced story line.
Tomb Raider Annivesary is the first game to appear on the Mac in a few years. The game series was originally brought to the Macintosh by Aspyr Media.

The Mac system requirements indicate that Tomb Raider Anniversary for Macintosh will initially be released only for Intel Macs, with a Universal (Intel and PPC) version of the game becoming available later in 2008.
