First Tomb Raider: Underworld screenshots appear online!

A collection of screenshots from Tomb Raider: Underworld have begun appearing across the internet.
The screenshots showcase the immersive and epic environment set to challenge Lara Croft.
Lara Croft in Tomb Raider: Underworld travels the globe like never before in a search to unlock the mystery of the Mayan calendar and to uncover a portal between mortal and underworld.
Crystal Dynamics has developed a brand new game engine to carry Lara's next adventure onto the Next-Gen consoles and that also includes a brand new hybrid lighting model which combines dynamic lights with carefully created light maps to add a further realm of realism to proceedings.
Tomb Raider: Underworld (Tomb Raider 8) has been targeted for a 2008 release and is expected to be released on Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony Playstation3 and Windows PC.
Eidos Interactive has asked Tomb Raider News Channel not to publish the screenshots in full, due to the exclusive lauch with PLAY magazine. More information and media to come in the near future.
