Tomb Raider scores serveral nominations in British Academy Video Games Awards
|
Today the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has release the nominations for this year's British Academy Video Games Awards in association with Nokia N-Gage and PC World, which will be the feature event of the newly-established London Games Festival.
This high-profile Awards ceremony will reward artistic, creative and technical innovation within all aspects of the video games industry. The winners will be announced at the ceremony in the historic Roundhouse on Thursday 5 October 2006, hosted by Vernon Kay..
Eidos has several nominees, for example Tomb Raider: Legend which scooped five nominations including one for
Lara Croft in the Character category. She was joined by Hitman’s Agent 47, and Rogue Trooper’s Rogue.
Also re-workings of old themes proved popular, with Reservoir Dogs receiving a nomination in the Soundtrack category.
