SCi Entertainment Group Plc ('SCi'), one of the world's leading publishers of computer and video games, today announces a trading update following the recent release of Tomb Raider Legend.

After the launch of Tomb Raider Legend, featuring Lara Croft, on April 7th in Europe and April 11th in North America it has sold more then 2.6 mln units.

The sales have already overtaken the 2.3 mln units sold from the previous Tomb Raider release Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness, which disappointed fans worldwide.

SCi, which acquired games maker Eidos last May, said it expected strong sales of Tomb Raider Legend for the rest of the year.

'We are delighted with the success of Tomb Raider Legend' SCi Entertainment Group chief executive Jane Cavanagh said in a statement. 'The product portfolio for the 2007 financial year is very strong and provides a base for continued profitable growth.'

Currently available on the PC, PS2, Xbox and Xbox 360, the game has reached high positions in both Europe and North America.

Tomb Raider Legend will be launched on the Sony PSP in June 2006, Mobile phone in September 2006 and on the Nintendo DS, Gameboy Advance and Gamecube platforms later this year.
